Leadership Development & Quality Improvement for Healthcare
I work with healthcare leaders who are committed to making meaningful improvement using approaches that are practical, evidence-informed, and sustainable within complex systems.
Michelle LeDrew, RN, MN
For more than 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of leading healthcare teams across hospital and public health settings, working to improve the health and well-being of women, children, and families.
As a registered nurse and senior health leader, I have led large, complex programs spanning multiple services and disciplines. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with executive teams, clinical leaders, and frontline staff to translate evidence into practice, strengthen quality improvement capability, and support meaningful system change.
Most recently, I served as the National Baby-Friendly Project Director, leading a 25-hospital quality improvement collaborative across Canada focused on improving maternal and infant care. The outcomes of this work were published in BMJ Open Quality, reflecting both the rigor of the collaborative and the commitment of participating organizations.
Throughout my career, I’ve learned that lasting improvement happens when leaders have practical tools, align improvement with organizational priorities, and create environments where people feel supported to learn, collaborate, and grow. These principles continue to guide my work and the resources I create.
Whether I’m collaborating with healthcare leaders or creating educational resources for families, my purpose remains the same: to strengthen the systems that support children and families so they can thrive.
I support healthcare leaders who want to move from intention into meaningful and impactful outcomes.
My work focuses on strengthening leadership development and quality improvement capabilities in ways that are:
- Practical and grounded in everyday operations
- Evidence-informed
- Designed to last beyond a single project or initiative
Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, I work alongside leaders to clarify priorities, build confidence, and develop improvement approaches that fit and support sustainable change.
